Advances in Contemporary Nursing and Gender calls for submissions for a special issue of Contemporary Nurse - April 2009

Papers are invited for this special issue of Contemporary Nurse devoted to all aspects of gender and nursing including:
Research papers about any aspect of gender and nursing care including methodological issues and topics that are under-addressed;
Papers about gender orientation concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or heterosexuality and gender reassignment;
Race, ethnicity, culture, religion and gender;
Relevant practice papers that provide examples of multi-professional practice or which address the practicalities, policy or managerial aspects of delivering services and care;
Debate papers that address key issues relating to gender and nursing.
All papers will be peer reviewed for this special issue to be published in 2009 as part of the Advances in Contemporary Nursing Series (ISSN 1832-9861).
