Billie Hara writing for the Chronicle of Higher Education reminds us that summer is the growing season for many academic writers. Hara coaches us in some basic principles for making the summer productive:

  1. Have a writing plan.
  2. Create a writing space.
  3. Limit distractions.
  4. Create emotional space.
  5. Collect writing tools.
  6. Make writing social.
  7. Just write.
