Rockquemore: Are You Afraid to Succeed?

In her summer series on jump starting a scholar’s academic writing, Kerry Ann Rockquemore last week asked: “Do you REALLY want to be a professor?” This week she asks an equally important follow-up question: “Are you afraid to succeed?”

Rockquemore examines what she calls “persistent paralysis” and invites readers to dig down to find the sources of the paralysis that keeps them from achieving their writing goals.

As in previous installments, she offers practical tasks for this week.
