Keeping Track of Your Ms Submissions

How do you keep track of manuscripts that you are trying to place with journals? To which journals have you already sent a manuscript (and which journals are next on your list)? How long has a manuscript been in the hands of an editor or reviewers (and is it time to withdraw it to submit it elsewhere)?

The Chronicle of Higher Education‘s ProfHacker column (authored in this instance by Billie Hara) recommends iWrite Assistant.

iWrite Assistant is a free on-line database in which you track the manuscript title, the journal to which it was submitted, when it was submitted, and its current status. One advantage: You can access this database from any location with Internet access.
