Submit your literature review manuscripts to The Journal of School Nursing special issue. The February issue is dedicated to exemplars of literature reviews including narrative, integrated, scoping, systematic or meta-analysis. Reviews are welcome addressing a wide array of topics including intervention reviews, determinants of health, health services, or policy analysis. The manuscripts should include synthesis of the literature reviewed as well as implications for school nursing, and school health services.
Manuscripts will receive a rigorous peer review. The multidisciplinary audience includes researchers, school nurse clinicians and other school health services providers. First decision is available in less than 25 days. Publication at OnlineFirst is approximately 30 days after final acceptance.
The Journal of School Nursing (JOSN) is a bi-monthly peer-reviewed forum for improving the health of school children and the school community. The JOSN includes original research, research reviews, evidenced-based innovations in clinical practice or policy, and more.
