CFS: American Journal of Nursing

American Journal of Nursing seeks submissions. AJN is considered the nursing profession’s journal, as the oldest continuously circulating nursing journal in the world. It has the largest circulation of any peer-reviewed nursing journal, with a circulation comparable to that of leading medical journals, making it an excellent vehicle for the dissemination of research, best practices, and information about nursing and health care. Its readership reflects the diversity of the profession, reaching bedside nurses, researchers, faculty, students, managers, and leaders in the profession, as well as non-nurses.

AJN follows guidelines for peer review set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, including statistical/methodological reviews of original research. Its acceptance rate is less than 20%, and more than 95% of published articles undergo author revision before acceptance. It is the only broad-based nursing journal indexed in ISI.

Submission guidelines can be found on its Web site: www.ajnonline.com  or by contacting its editor: Diana J. Mason, RN, PhD, FAAN, Editor-in-Chief, American Journal of Nursing, Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 333 7th Avenue, 20th Fl., New York, NY 10001 Diana.Mason@WoltersKluwer.com
